The election of 2010 was a failure of electors to do their homework. I do believe that Representative Stephanie Herseth Sandlin made the correct choice in voting for the stimulus bill which saved jobs and possibly the economy from dipping deep into a recession. How can South Dakotan's say that the stimulus was bad? Oh because of our national debt? While admittedly some of the initial costs of these program are going to add to the national debt, shouldn't real questions be focused why we went to war and on the money spent from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq?
